Central Park Medical Centre, Leyland

Whitespace were tasked with providing new flooring and seating to the main reception area and consulting rooms at Central Park Medical Centre in Leyland. Over the course of two weekends, the existing carpet was removed and new hygienic hard flooring laid.  The surgery’s reception staff had responsibility for choosing the floor colour and opted for a wood-effect vinyl in cherry.  This is an attractive, yet hard wearing floor which is excellent value for money and comes with a ten year guarantee.

 

To further modernise the reception area, new patient seating was required.  Whitespace provided a number of options and the centre chose a combination of fixed beam seating and individual chairs.  This has maximised the space available, provided flexibility for layout changes and made ongoing cleaning and maintenance much easier.  Again the reception team chose an attractive yet practical finish in soft green, complimenting the new floor finish perfectly.

The surgery staff provide a warm and friendly atmosphere and now have a reception area to match!  This is supported by the patients who have approved of the changes made and a few have even suggested using the space for tea dances!!
