Having outgrown their existing premises at a business park on the outskirts of Chester, this client has gone for a much more rural setting! The office has relocated to a barn conversion just 5 miles down the road. The design scheme had to be modern and contemporary yet still in keeping with the building fabric. Creating individual offices with seamless glass room dividers allowed maximum light into the centre of the office along with providing an opportunity to show the corporate brand. Employee-comfort was a large factor especially when it came to choosing the seating. The Herman Miller Mirra chair ticked all the boxes on ergonomics and their citrus coloured seat pad enhanced the interior design scheme.
With nine employees interacting all day the 120 degree workstation suited the space and the business needs. This fluid desk layout allows individuals to communicate easily and comfortably compared to their previous office layout. The glass room dividers produced separate areas which could be used if privacy was essential or acoustic properties were required.
