Worden Medical Centre

Worden Medical Centre is a local doctors’ surgery in Leyland. The existing reception space was redesigned to provide a DDA compliant reception counter, a self registration space and modern yet practical seating and flooring. See the design here. The existing reception ‘windows’ were dark and formal, these were removed and replaced with a bespoke reception counter.

 

The new design, in a light birch finish, includes a low level access area for wheelchair users plus work space and storage facilities for the reception staff.

Beam seating was provided and set within feature flooring to maximize numbers in the waiting area and yet provide DDA compliant clear walkways.
