Working alongside the architect and the client to redesign an existing building for new occupancy, our brief was to transform a previously open plan office to include a new reception area, boardroom, presentation suite, offices, breakout areas and welfare facilities.
Frameless glass partitions were introduced to the office space to give a light airy feel, although, clever positioning of manifestation and integral blinds still allows an option of privacy. This openness of space meant co-ordination of styles and finishes was critical throughout.
Back lit panels were installed to the impressive reception area, which, along with the stylish furniture creates an inviting area for visitors and staff.
A tasteful boardroom was also created along with a presentation suite containing state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment; alongside these a ‘hot-desk’ area was formed to accommodate the high volume of business visitors to the building. Strategically positioned breakout spaces to support informal meetings as well as welfare facilities to support the meeting rooms were also introduced.
The walls are finished in contemporary white which adds to the brightness of the space.
The result was the delivery of a high quality office environment which exceeded all client expectations.
