Working closely with the MD and a designated steering group, Whitespace secured the project, not only to supply the furniture but also have significant input into the modern interior design of this two storey building. Design (whilst retaining functionality) was a key driver for the client and Whitespace came up with exciting and innovative schemes for each floor. See our designs here Garside Laycock plan

Technology also had a large impact on the furniture design solution. With the client moving over to wireless keyboard and mouse to be consistent with the new modern interior, design was not compromised as we ensured that the monitor screens were supported by desk mounted support arms and CPUs were suspended in cradles beneath the desk to free up as much desk top space as possible. To compliment this we then used the screen as a support for desktop accessories, like paper trays and pen pots.
