Metrohm
One of our largest projects to date, we were tasked with fitting out the new UK Headquarters of Metrohm at Daresbury Park, supplying everything from laboratory benching to the telephone system. Working closely with the Managing Director, we planned, designed, fitted out and furnished this 8000 sq ft office space. See the plan here. Metrohm plan.
The ground floor was equipped with laboratories and a training facility, the first floor a mixture of open plan and cellular offices for the Metrohm staff with a stylish boardroom to complete the space.

The laboratory area was key for Metrohm as an area to demonstrate their equipment to clients. We created a fully functional laboratory as well as a demonstration area. The benching was designed for the business needs of Metrohm and to utilise the space. Some units were fixed, others were mobile, and some contained storage. To compliment the laboratory we added a training room with furniture and a plasma screen to offer maximum flexibility for different sizes of groups and styles of training.
The first floor is dedicated to the Metrohm business, with cellular offices for the directors and a spacious open plan area for the staff. The offices were designed with glazed fronts for maximum light but with integral blinds for privacy. A central print zone consolidates printers, faxes and copiers into one area saving on cost of equipment and consumables. The addition of a boardroom completes the space with integrated plasma and cabling for client presentations.
To complete the package we assisted with signage around the building including manifestation to the ground floor windows using the Metrohm brand to frost the windows adding security at the same time.
