Ocean Outdoor
Based in the heart of London, Ocean Outdoor is a boutique media company that fills a unique position in the outdoor advertising world. They specialise only in large-format digital, iconic landmark and super-premium banner locations.
Partnering with our southern contractor, our brief was clear; to create a modern space which was functional, creative and consistent with the company’s corporate image. From the choice of colours and finishes, right through to signage and overall brand identity, the aesthetics of the final design were key to the success of this project. Our design team got to work creating a sexy yet highly efficient space.
To maximise on space in the main office area, bespoke and standard storage solutions were introduced both centrally and at individual desk positions, all finished in white and grey to coordinate with the overall space. Individual workstations were fitted with under desk cable management systems, resulting in a neat and safe working environment.
A breakout area was also introduced to the space, giving staff somewhere to eat lunch or to simply take a break away from their desks. Full height glass partitions with manifestation for added privacy divide this area from the rest of the office.
A new reception area was formed, incorporating soft seating, bespoke built-in display shelving and a recessed multi-media wall. The curved partition installed into this area gives separation from the surrounding workspace, providing a comfortable, relaxed waiting area for visitors. A range of floor finishes were used to differentiate areas within the workplace.
To complete the transformation a state-of-the-art boardroom was created, housing a huge TV screen, which had to be craned into position due to its size! Back-lit panels were installed to this impressive space, with the lights changing colour in line with the TV screen. A white high gloss boardroom table, along with stunning sliding glass doors, replicating the company logo, give the finishing touches to the impressive room.
