We had a lot to live up to when we were approached to design Samsung’s 2012 Olympic office in London. Every project presents its own unique challenges, and Samsung was no exception. We were given the original brief in the first week of December 2009 and the client wanted to be fully operational in their new office by the end of February 2010.
Whitespace were asked to design and space plan 1,851 sq ft on the 34th floor of One Canada Square, Canary Wharf London. The key aspects of the brief included:
- A welcoming reception area with strong brand identity.
- Three meeting rooms, varying in size.
- Two executive offices.
- Eight workstations.
- Storage facilities.
- Function area for printers, fax machine etc.
- A kitchen and breakout area.
With a tight space and timescale to work to, our design team got to work on this task, carrying out several revisions before the final design was agreed. See this here Samsung
The results speak for themselves!
