tastecard

tastecard, the leading diners’ club in the UK, recently employed our services to design and furnish the interior of their new head office in Huddersfield.

tastecard have two main aims; to help their restaurants by encouraging people to eat out more often, and to help their members by making eating out more affordable. Starting with just 150 restaurants in Central London they are getting bigger and better every single day, adding at least three hundred new restaurants every month. Now with over 3,150,000 members and thousands of participating restaurants they were looking to expand their business premises. Relocating to a stunning three storey grade II listed building, our brief was to produce an inspiring, creative office interior that would motivate and encourage, whilst promoting the corporate brand and preserving the building’s features.

To the ground floor we introduced a striking reception area, open plan office space, meeting room and breakout area. Our design team transformed the reception space using the corporate brand to accent the area with impressive new signage on black glass panels and the entrance matting. We added a bespoke, sleek, modern, white gloss reception desk and soft seating in the corporate colours to really give the area the wow factor.

Work on the ground floor continued to the breakout space, with funky grass effect flooring, picnic-bench style seating, quirky moulded tables and stools and a fully equipped kitchen area. The meeting room is furnished with an elegant white gloss table and black faux leather meeting chairs. Feature flooring utilising the corporate colours and signage complete the look.

Collaborating with the management team we also designed and furnished the customer service department on this floor. Following an extensive space planning exercise, designed to maximise the space available we created a desking solution that would not only seat the staff comfortably it would also encourage interaction between different departments. New meeting spaces continuing with the white gloss theme and innovative storage solutions compliment the overall aesthetics.

It was essential the end result demonstrated the corporate image, from the choice of colours and finishes through to the signage and overall brand identity. This carefully developed interior design, space planning and furniture solution brings the tastecard brand to life, we are confident that the results speak for themselves…
