As part of their expansion program VTL Automotive employed our services to design and fit out their new office interior. Designs would need to provide an office space that would reflect their global image. Starting with an empty shell, we proposed utilizing otherwise unused overhead space by constructing a mezzanine floor which would house a new suite of offices for the directors, a boardroom and a small kitchen and breakout area.
The ground floor would comprise of a reception area, an open plan office, kitchen and canteen area and washrooms. Once the office interior designs were signed off by the client we supplied plans for building regulation approval, the designs were approved and work began… To view these plans click here. VTL
Firstly we installed the mezzanine floor, then partition walls to the newly formed first floor creating individual offices, the kitchen and boardroom. Fully glazed partitions to the offices incorporate integral blinds giving the occupants the option of privacy when holding meetings. Partition walls were also installed to the ground floor, creating an open plan office, the reception area, washrooms and kitchen and breakout area.
Whitespace provided a full turnkey package which included suspended ceilings, partitions walls, lighting, power & data, heating, plumbing, decorating, flooring and signage. Furniture including desks, chairs and storage units completed the look of the workplace. Screens were incorporated in to the ground floor office providing privacy whilst not compromising on the open plan culture. We also installed windows to the ground and first floors supplying natural light in to the building. The job was project managed throughout, regularly updating the client on progress.
Whitespace designed the whole area to make the best use of the available space ensuring the new offices communicate the right image to VTL’s customers and staff alike. The client is delighted with the new working environment.
