To hear that around 40% of businesses would actually stay put in cramped, dilapidated, expensive and/or inefficient buildings because moving is considered just too hard really surprises us…
Yes, relocating can be a major upheaval for any business, but it can also be one of the most exciting aspects of running a company, more so when moving to a stunning Grade II listed building.
When tastecard decided to relocate their Head Office from it Viaduct Street location due to expansion, they actually struggled to find the right accommodation. They needed their new premises to reflect that they are the largest business in their industry in the world and when they found Birkby Grange in Huddersfield it ticked all the boxes.
To complete the move, tastecard employed our services to fit out the former barn with a modern look whilst still retaining the building’s architectural features. Our brief was to produce an inspiring, creative office interior that would motivate and encourage, whilst promoting the company image.
Transforming the reception space we used the corporate brand to accent the area with impressive new signage on black glass panels and the company logo printed on to the entrance matting. A bespoke, modern, sleek white gloss reception desk and soft seating in the corporate colours really give the area the all important wow factor. See what we did to the rest of the building here…
